Contextual Inquiry

I started by conducting 24 interviews centered on understanding the day-to-day life of our users as it relates to chronic illness. I avoided mentioning any ideas or early visual product concepts so we could identify real areas of opportunity without the user being influenced by us.

Affinity Mapping

I then clustered responses from these interviews to identify key insights. Using this affinity map, our product manager ran several workshops to help us ideate feature concepts, designs, and flows for our new platform.
