PWA PHASE 2: SPRINT PLANNING

A. Feature Prioritization & Sprint Planning

Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Focus

Based on contextual interviews, surveys, user personas, and business needs, we decided to focus our platform MVP down to the top 2 member goals of learning and helping others in addition to the 4th goal of participating in research since it was critical for monetization.

While we eventually implemented 53 core feature concepts, we initially narrowed our focus to 18 core features we felt were feasible and most likely to help members accomplish these goals.

Feature Prioritization

I collaborated with our product team to assist in prioritizing all feature implementations and enhancements as requirements and user stories in a master Feature Tracker using Coda.

2-Week Sprint Planning

We took the highest priority features and translated them into 2-week sprints in JIRA while adding all other features, enhancements, and bugs into our backlog.

We constantly updated our sprint planning with results from our Beta program. This helped us maintain an agile methodology for development.
